Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a process of identifying, predicting, evaluating and mitigating the biophysical, social, and other relevant effects of development proposals prior to major decisions being taken and commitments made. These studies integrate the environmental concerns of developmental activities into the process of decision-making.
Envision Enviro Tech has extensive experience in conducting Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies, preparing reports, and facilitating public hearings for a wide range of projects. We provide the services PAN Indiafor offshore and onshore projects. We cater to various industries such as chemical, cement, distilleries, metallurgical, pesticides, petrochemicals, marine, pharmaceuticals, building construction, townships, sugar industries, and others for their TSDF and CETP.

Environmental Clearance (EC)
Envision Enviro Tech provides its services in obtaining Environmental Clearance for projects listed under the EIA notification 2006 and in line with subsequent amendments under draft notifications 2020 for its clients. We offer our services for Category A projects where byprior environmental clearance from the Central Government is required through the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF),and for Category B projects where by prior environmental clearance is required from the State/Union territory Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA).
As part of obtaining Environment Clearances process, if applicable, Envision tech has successfully completed Public Consultation/Hearing (PH)as well for its clients. Envision tech has successfully provided consultancy Services of Environmental Clearance for more than 300 projects along with public hearing of more than 100 projects.
Coastal Regulation Zone Clearance (CRZ)
As per the CRZ notification, the coastal land up to 500 m from the High Tide Line (HTL) and a stage of 100 m along banks of creeks, lagoons, estuaries, backwater and rivers subject to tidal fluctuations, is called the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ). Before commencement of any development activities in CRZ, clearance from concerned authority is required.
Envision Enviro Tech also specialises in providing comprehensive consultancy services for obtaining CRZ clearances and has successfully assisted its clients in obtaining Coastal Regulation Clearance for more than 50 projects.
Social Impact Assessment – SIA Or Social Environment Impact Assessment – SEIA
In India, Social Impact Assessment (SIA/SEIA) has often been overlooked as it is typically conducted alongside the Environment Impact Assessment clearance process. However, it is now recognized as a crucial component in project preparation, particularly for the development of Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs). SIA/SEIA involves conducting socio-economic surveys to identify the social and economic effects on individuals and communities affected by project-related displacement. The data collected is then utilized to design strategies for mitigating these impacts and to monitor the implementation of these measures.
Social impacts refer to the transformations that take place within communities or individuals due to external changes. These changes can affect various aspects, including employment, income, production, lifestyle, culture, community, political systems, environment, health, well-being, personal and property rights, as well as fears and aspirations. It is important to note that these impacts can either be positive or negative. In essence, a social impact signifies a noteworthy enhancement or decline in the overall welfare of people.
